Urban Salon is a London-based architectural and design practice which was set up in 1997. We specialise in four areas: architecture, interiors, exhibition design and research.

The studio is multi-disciplinary and employs architects, product and furniture designers.

Conceptually driven, the studio specialises in complex projects that require speedy and inventive solutions. Problems are viewed as intellectual and design challenges. We deliver unique solutions often through research and collaboration with a wide range of specialists including engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, academic institutions, graphic and lighting designers.

We aspire to realise future possibilities through architecture and design and seek to bring ecological and non-elitist solutions for all our clients, whether public or private.

Our clients have included: Marks & Spencer, BBH, Orange, Virgin, the Barbican, the ICA and the New Millennium Experience Company.

In 2000, we were awarded Runner Up in Young Architect of the Year and have been a finalist in The Times/Gestetner 100 best office buildings in 2000, 2002 and 2003. Recently we were shortlisted in the Architecture Foundation's Bermondsey Square Affordable Housing competition.
